As a valued member of the ANA faculty and team I continually worked to lift the standards and proficiency of all the students that I taught both directly and indirectly to prepare them for the rigors of high school and college. As the English Department Chair I mentored and provided leadership to the staff I supervised as well as my fellow colleagues. I earned a BS in Education as well as a Certification in TESL. I graduated in 2009 with my BA in English and am currently pursuing my masters in writing. While at the undergraduate level I learned about all manner of skill in writing from research papers to poetry. I am currently finishing up a Teaching Writing course at the graduate level at the University of New Hampshire.
