I am an Elementary school teacher for 6 years. I have my BA in Psychology, from Rutgers University, and hold my teaching certificate for Elementary K-6 and Special Education K-12. I like to tell people that i did not choose teaching; rather I believe it chose me. I have always worked with children that were struggling whether it was socially or academically. I was typically working with what are known as the "at risk" students.
