As a mother of 16 yr old twins, I have always been a tutor in reading, english and literature. I moved to a larger school district and taught History and Economic at the Senior High school levels. I received tenure and taught 4 years leaving the education field to enter business.

While I was an undergraduate, volunteering was very important to me. One of the places I volunteered was an after school program for children who live in Hamilton Hill. While I volunteered there I helped many of them with there homework as well as extra reading and writing to help improve those skills. I found that my psychology major as well as my education and english minors were very useful and helpful to help tutor in all subjects.
I love working with children. I was involved in girl scouts from first grade all the way to 12th grade and in those years I learned a lot of leadership skills.
