I tutored Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Biology and Chemistry while I was pursuing both of my degrees. Not only was I a tutor, but I also sought tutoring for myself! I feel that tutorial sessions can help students get a better understanding of a subject outside of daily classroom lectures. I enjoy seeing others achieve their goals and begin to comprehend things they didn't before. During the times I've helped other students and friends, I have always had a lot of patience. I know that these things don't come fast, and so I take the time to teach the material, give them time to try and do the problems on their own, and then go back over the material making sure each point is understood, even the places where the student may have gone astray.
