A Little Bit About Me...

I was a teaching assistant at North Georgia College and State University for three years. I assisted with laboratory sections of biology courses and taught them in the event of a professors absence. I provided department funded tutoring services during that time as well. I have taken the GRE and Biology Section of the GRE and received excellent scores on both tests in only one sitting. I have also coached 4H horse quiz bowl and horse judging teams for several years working with elementary and middle school age children.

I feel that teaching will not only inform young minds to think differently or make them more motivated to learn. But to allow one to master his or her knowledge in general, teaching allows oneself to fully understand the subject in their own minds. After my high school education, where I achieved A's in both core and elective math, I began teaching math at the elementary and high school level. I eventually broadened my scope and taught english and science, all part time. I went on to pursue my undergraduate degree and am now pursuing my MBA at Mercer University, Atlanta.
