I'm currently a student at PLD Highschool and have taken all the classes listed that I'm tutoring for. Math is something I love to do on my free time and I know the basics, and beyond in some areas. Graphs of functions and applications for example. Exponential and logarithmic functions and conic sections are also a forte.

German is one of my top subjects! I have studied German at a University level. I spent 1 summer semester in Bregenz, Austria. I spent 1 year at the University of Tübingen studying advanced German.

While I am still a university student, I have spent many countless hours studying German. I have studied it in an American classroom and a German classroom. I lived in Germany for 15 months, studying and living the language. I really love the German language and culture, and I'm really interested in helping others to love it as much as I do! Genuine, personal interest in the child; establishing rapport; establishing the student's mastery level, then building from there (instead of an arbitrary line which creates anxiety); affirmation of every step of progress/success; recognition but careful use of errors in non-judgmental, constructive correction; ease in backing up for review when needed; positive verbal and behavioral reinforcement to the student, including reports to parents about same, all these are things that come to mind.
