While working as an engineer I discovered a passion for teaching and the joy of "sharing" knowledge with others. I am now semi-retired and would like to extend that passion by tutoring in science and mathematics on a part-time basis. I have three engineering degrees as well as teacher certification in secondary science and mathematics. I have taught in a high school and middle school, as well as at the community college level. I am proficient in all areas of mathematics and physical sciences that are offered at the secondary level, and my engineering experience has taught me how to apply these skills as well as communicate effectively in reports and other technical documents.
