I believe that Mathematics is the language of all sciences, and that children need a good foundation in this subject to succeed. I am passionate about achieving understanding of Mathematical topics in a child, since I believe many children dislike Math simply because they do not understand it. A Little Bit About Me...

As I am still a student myself, I bring a slightly unique perspective to tutoring. I know and appreciate the importance of a compelling instructor, who is both enthusiastic and intelligent, but also patient and understanding. I love the sciences, but I have not been working in the field for so long as to not remember the frustration most students feel when first grasping the founding principles. I strongly believe that learning is best facilitated through problem solving rather than rote memorization, especially within the sciences. Asking questions is far more important than answering them, and engendering a genuine interest in learning is paramount above all else.
