A Little Bit About Me...

Because each student, young or old, responds to different learning stimuli (graphical or verbal) at diffrent rates, I always try to get to know my student first. I then try to tailor my tutoring to how they respond best and retain what they've learned. I believe in repetition and using examples that a student can relate to, and then testing the student's understanding of the subject matter.
As the oldest of five children, my 15+ years of tutoring experience includes helping my siblings in their homework when we were growing up. Most children have had positive and negative experiences at school.
