A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in teaching to the student’s style of learning. If convention works use it. Picking up on a student’s interest and intergrading the educational experience is essential. In other words if a student is interested in horses, the classroom should be moved to the barn. If math is the subject in question then measuring food would be an excellent way to learn fractions. In the past I have written several programs for my sons to use to learn both math and spelling. I find the instant response from the programs was a very effective tool for them to learn. They were more willing to study as they could use the computer.

A Little Bit About Me...

I currently teach at a small K-12 school where I taught business classes. My current course load includes Introduction to Career, Business Management, Business Math, Accounting, and Work-based Learning. I am also the director of the Stratford Alternative Education Program. This program allows me to help students complete courses such as Chemistry, Biology, and Algebra so they may receive a state diploma.
