Inspired Educational Help!

I first want to start out by saying that I have a passion for what I do. I have over seven years of experience as a tutor and mentor and it has been a very rewarding experience. I have been tutoring mathematics in the Cincinnati area since 1997. I have worked with students ranging from elementary school through college level. From 2010-2014, I taught math and science full time at a local Catholic school. In Fall of 2014, I completed my student teaching at a local high school. In January 2015,I received my MA in Math Education along with my state teaching certification. The subjects that I have taught include: elementary math, pre-algebra, algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, trigonometry, geometry, statistics, general chemistry, and physics.

My comments on tutoring Pre-Algebra : I am a certified secondary math teacher in Kentucky with a professional degree (ABD) in curriculum and instruction with an emphases in mathematics education and assessment. I have 16 years of high school teaching experience and taught Pre-Algebra several times over those years. I also served as math department chair, a mentor teacher, and primary curriculum writer. I was blessed with several awards, including Teacher of the Year, Excellence in Education(from Emerson Electric) and the Loeb Award (from St. Louis Science Center for excellence in math/science education).

After 16 years of high school classroom teaching experience in Missouri, I decided to pursue my doctorate in education at UK.
