I am a part-time faculty at Robert Morris University. I have 10 years of formal experience teaching undergraduate chemistry courses in the classroom and in private both in-person and online. Beside this, I have also had experience during my research in teaching, both in one-on-one and in group settings including tutorials, meetings, seminars and conferences.
My teaching philosophy is to help students understand chemistry through four modalities: reading, listening, seeing and hands-on learning. To explain ideas in chemistry I can use various teaching aids such as 3-D models, chemistry-writing software, and visual demonstrations. I also try to relate chemistry to student’s real world experiences.

In between obtaining my BA in political science and English from the University of Mississippi in 2009 and returning to school for chemical engineering I spent a year and a half working with student governments on college campuses as a political consultant for a public policy organization.
