A Little Bit About Me...

My goal is really for the person I am tutoring to fully understand the information they are trying to learn. In this way, they can understand the basics and build upon that. I believe the best way to approach a new student is to find out their weaknesses and strengths. Then, really put some hard work into making their weak points better and making their strong points the best they can be. I think that it is best for a student to know how to do their work with AND without a calculator for full understanding in mathematics. Finally, I think it is important for a tutor to try to be a friend to the student so that the environment is comfortable and inviting for the best learning outcomes.

Children are our future. I believe that all children have something wonderful to offer the community. Learning is not always easy for children, I take the time to find out the strengths and weakness they my have, I find out what their interest are, this is a great tool for teaching children something they may be struggling in, an I strive to provide a safe and fun environment for them to learn in. I have had the pleasure to work inside the Natchez Adams School District as a Permanent Sub. I taught from the Mississippi Curriculum Framer.
