I ask questions, I make math fun!! I draw pictures. The assinments are OUR assignments the students are not alone. Math was hard for me too I GET why they are stuck!!
I work with students of various backgrounds, aging from pre teen to retirement age, many with learning disabilities, many who are also ahead of their peers. As I have just finished my Master's degree in Education at the University of Vermont, I spent the last school year in Montpelier high school working as a chemistry intern and tutoring students on an as needed basis. I have tutored a few students in math, as my Bachelor's degree has given me a strong background in math and science.
