A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is basic. I feel it is most important for a student to grasp the basics before they can move on to more complicated subject material. I also am a strong believer of parental involvement. A parent knows their children's learning patterns best. I like to use different approaches. Activities that are visually and mentally stimulting help to form a connection between the student and the lesson. It is important to me that each of my student's set and acheive goals.
As a high school student, I attended Tiffin University to gain college experience and credit earlier than expected. Working with grades 7-12 I used various methods of teaching different age groups. I use every day applications for courses to make it symbolic and understandable for students. I look for their strengths and weaknesses and focus on the areas of difficulty. I use the internet for an approach to their needs and some times testing.
