I have taught this class for the last 3 years. Teaching style varies depending on how the student learns best. I have been a high school teacher for the last 6 years. I have recieved high scores 5 years in a row for the End of the year testing that each school must do. I have learned how to teach students that learn in a variety of different ways. I have never had formal experience tutoring. However Throughout my years of schooling I would participate in study groups which I see as everyone tutoring eachother. I also have two siblings, one very close in age and the other is approximately four years younger. Needless to say, I frequently helped my younger sister with her homework. Just to clarify when I say 'help' I do not mean I just gave her the answers, I would make sure that I either explained or demonstrated the correct way to approach a problem in order to make sure that she understood how to apply the knowlege come test time. I am a kenisthetic learner but when "hands on" is really not an option I (especially with mathematics) draw so that I have a visual, physical representation of the task at hand.
