I have two children of my own and understand that all people learn in their own way. I have proven success with helping children find the way to learn that works best for them. Both of my kids are in the talented and gifted programs at school. I am patient but firm and do not like to waste time or money. I have always picked things up quickly, more quickly than my peers. My peers have often come to me to ask for my help in those areas. I also see how to apply what I have learned to original problems because I see connections and hold a deeper understanding of the material. My double major in Chemistry and Biochemistry with a mino in Mathematics was full of its fair share of difficult material, and I was almost always able to help my peers, as well as younger students, through their problems.
I can usually find a way to relate the material that the student is struggling with to something else that they understand. I first became interested in tutoring college. Then I started teaching both chemistry and math at both high school and college levels over the years. I have also been involved in conducting labs for undergraduate students at all level in the department of chemistry. I have worked with research intuitions like the Department of Science and Technology at the Ministry of Education Republic of Liberia.
