My approach to teaching will be using real life problems. I believe that if you can understand the problem in a real life situations then you can apply it. Depending on the age I will make sure and teach on that level. I will plan lessons before meeting, so I can have the best understand of the subject. It is my goal to teach and see others learn. I have worked with children from pre-k through 6th grade. I am a full time student at UTSA, so I believe these challenging classes will help me be able to help you get a clear understanding. I design the lesson to the learning preference of the student. I incorporate technology, visual, tactile and kinesthetic teaching styles. This gives the student the maximum opportunity to learn. If a student is having trouble with reading comprehension there are various skill sets a child learns in order to help with standardized tests. I have experience in that area. It has been my privilege to teach at many levels and venues over my career which started in the mid 70’s.
