I have always approached a teaching lesson as a learning opportunity. Learning is a fundamental skill. If you don't have your basic fundamentals, your student will have difficulty advancing. So, I always start with basic fundamentals such as; note taking, study skills, and comprehension! All sciences demand the ability to link concepts together. I possess over 30 years of academic/industry training the areas of mathematics, networking, programming and engineering. German tutor

my first education I finished 1985 as civil engineer in Switzerland. After 2 years experience I was training supervisor for the apprentice and also project chief of smaller and bigger civil engineer projects. I brought this young people to the end of there education to get there diploma. At the same time I was part time teacher at the professional school for civil engineer in Luzern Switzerland. After a few years I decided to make my hobby to my profession and started a second education as motorcycle mechanic. after I finished this, I opened my own shop
learning by doing. To learn a language (German) you have to talk, talk, talk as much as possible. Also reading is a good way to learn vocabulary and get the feeling for the word order.

Learning Can be Fun!

I like to allow the student to read the material once and clarity any areas that need more explanation. Then I will allow them to answer questions from the material read and help them where needed to choose the correct answer and understand the reason for the answers. I like to reward a certain level of correct answers with points that can be redeemed for interesting small prizes.
