A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated with honors from a formal university, where I tutored fellow classmates; however, I gained most of my tutoring and teaching experience overseas, in a universal classroom. I have taught youth and adults in Mexico, Spain, Chad, Benin, Morocco and other countries. In most of those cases I was teaching English, but I also taught key aspects of health, sustainable development, lifelong skills and leadership. I taught classes ranging in size between 5 and 100. I am an accomplished writer and enjoy tutoring in English composition, literature and grammar, as well as foreign language. I believe strongly in education and deem that it is a catalyst for growth, change and success, whether for an individual or a nation.

My unique teaching style is derived from creative visual art background, patiene from being a Japanese, and passion for educating our future. There is no pressure in my teaching style. Also being a father of two grown children of my own, contributes greately to my teaching.
My style of art is hands on and viewer participations. After recieving my master's degree in Visual Art; I started teaching youngsters in the museum classes, Boston Children's Museum, Worceser Art Museum, and Fitchburg Art Museum. A Little Bit About Me...

As a first year teacher, I am using my creative impulse to establish a relationship with my students. I am fostering a love of learning in my classrooms, as well as a desire to learn more about the world. I am someone who looks at the glass as half full; there is never a problem that cannot be fixed or a creative solution to be discovered. Although I am firm when it comes to my policies in the classroom, I also see myself as a confidant for some students who might not have anyone else in their lives.
