A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated with honors from a formal university, where I tutored fellow classmates; however, I gained most of my tutoring and teaching experience overseas, in a universal classroom. I have taught youth and adults in Mexico, Spain, Chad, Benin, Morocco and other countries. In most of those cases I was teaching English, but I also taught key aspects of health, sustainable development, lifelong skills and leadership. I taught classes ranging in size between 5 and 100. I am an accomplished writer and enjoy tutoring in English composition, literature and grammar, as well as foreign language. It states that "All beauty is a making one of opposites, and a making one of opposites is what we are going after in ourselves" Thus, I relate the subject matter in hand to students' personal lives. For example, if we are learning Le Chartelier's Princlple, which concerns the response of a chemical reaction to stress, I have my students discuss the types of stress they experience, and their responses. We compare this to the beautifully precise and appropriate reaction in Chemistry, where the response is never inapproriate, insufficent or in excess.
