Because I have had to meet the needs of so many different students in so many different environments, I am flexible with teaching methods. A lack of resources overseas drove me to be creative and exercise methods of experiential learning: hands-on and engaged learning. I believe in creating a safe and comfortable learning environment for students, with some room for fun. I have taught a wide variety of subjects as a Special Education teacher. I have BS in natural science with a minor in Geology & geography and Secondary Education. I held certification to teach general science and currently certified to teach Biology in California. I have masters in Special Education and certified in Arizona as cross categorical in this area.
