I am a mother of 3 wonderful daughters, my oldest daughter studied Wholistic Medicine and practices in the New York area. My middle child, succesfully completed studies in the nursing field; and my youngest daughter is currently a senior in high school. Elementary Reading is one of my top subjects! In college I was part of a program that help struggling readers learn to read. I discovered that teaching a struggling reader how to read is the most rewarding aspect of teaching Elementary Education. So many learning possibilities are unlocked.

A student cannot learn unless he is comfortable and confident. My first priority before teaching is to make sure the student is relaxed and believes he can accomplish the goal. I also like to get to know my student to know what kind of learner he is and what he likes. My teaching style is "delight directed" whenever possible.
In 2001, I received my certification in Elementary Education from CCSU. I then substitute taught for the town of West Hartford for 2 years while I got married and had my son.
