I like to put "boring" lessons into games to help children remember and understand what they need to learn or memorize for tests and quizzes.
Provide learning opportunities for students in areas of enhanced educational skills as identified, provide children the opportunity for improvement and advancement. My goals are to improve there understanding in a subject, and remembering certain things for tests and quizzes to get a great grade. Following my graduation from the University of Connecticut I pursued a career in the insurance industry but have also spent time working as a youth group leader and worked as a part-time tutor for several years. While living in Connecticut I tutored homebound high school age children who were either out on medical leave or expelled for disciplinary purposes. I am proud to report that in addition to several other students, I provided tutoring for a full course load covering an entire year for one expelled student who improved grades in every course and went on to graduate.
