A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching experience spans college freshmen physics to middle school math. I converted to education after 20 years as a materials engineer in a number of industrial manufacturing companies. I have completed a state certified certificate program and did my student teaching in physics at a local high school. I am most experienced with secondary students grades 9-12 but have recently tutored college math, physics and chemistry students. I have BS and MS degrees in engineering.
I have taught in both public schools and a school for multiple handicapped children. I am also experienced with high achieving physics students. I believe in learning through experience, and finding a venue that the learner understands to set the experience.
