I believe in basic teaching with practice,and feedback. The differeniation of individual learning styles is always taken into consideration. My primary focus has been on 6th grade math and pre-algebra and having students understand the step-by-step process so they can not only know where the are, but where they are going and where they have been in mathematic skills. Even before I became an educator, I had the heart of a life-long learner. I believe I was called and gifted to be a teacher and to try to impart a love for learning to my students. I have a BA in English and French, and an MA in French Literature. In my 18 years of teaching experience, I have taught a wide variety of subjects (English, Spanish, French, Social Studies, Math) in mostly small school settings at both middle and high school levels.
