I have been working with children since I graduated from high school. I was a teachers assistant for the hearing impaired for 4 years and did some tutoring on the side for both deaf and hearing children. I attended college and received my bachelors degree in Psychology and then got a job as a teacher on an emergency credential and realized I loved teaching. When I graduated from college, I taught bilingual elementary kindergarten for 2 years on an emergency credential. I moved to Missouri in 1995 and since 1997 I have been a daycare director till recently. I enjoy seeing the pride and joy in each child when they learn something new. Nothing brings me more happiness that accomplishing a difficult task. I really enjoy seeing what I have overcome and the finished product of hard work and fortitude. Through tutoring, I want to extend that feeling to as many students as possible. I know that many people find mathematics to be extremely difficult, but I also know that with the right teacher we can learn anything.
