This is probably why many of my students have told me that I am great at explaining things so they understand it. Being proficient at math is similar to being proficient at playing a musical instrument. You can’t learn to play an instrument by going to concerts and watching other people perform. At the same time, I understand the best method about how to approach understanding the material in the easiest manner possible. The key is patience and practice.
