I have a very adaptive teaching style, as well as i am instructive. Where I model the lesson, and come along side of the student as they do it them self.
I was an middle and high school substitute teacher. I ran an after school program where we helped middle school and high school students with their home work, and I went to different middle schools and taught social studies, and homework skills. I enjoy watching learners succeed. I have the ability to diagnose learning weaknesses in a student, effectively plan a course to re mediate the student's learning weakness, implement a set of steps to assist the student to take the weakness and turn it to a strength building upon already mastered skills, and evaluate the success of the student's efforts and move on or re-teach based upon the student's needs. I have the ability to motivate learners so that they have fun accomplishing the goals set before them. But I am at the same time very task orientated and use a lot of behavior modification techniques in my approach.
