A Little Bit About Me...

Patient, understanding, and thorough would be the three words I would use to describe my teaching style. I am patient, because I understand that with a subject like Math, one has to know that it may take a great amount of time for the student to fully grasp the subject matter. I am understanding, for I know that each and every student is unique in how they can most effectively learn the subject of Math and how their instructor can teach them the subject most clearly. I obtained a bachelor of science in chemistry from the University of Alabama. But more importantly, i was deeply involved with cutting-edge scientific research throughout my undergraduate experience. In essence, I didn't just study to pass my exams, I studied to understand the material so that I can be able to teach someone else. I have also tutored introductory physics I and II at the university of Alabama center for Teaching and Learning.
