Currently a junior at the University of Memphis, I am seeking a Bachelor's degree in English. I love to write, and have always been the dictionary for people, so my concentration is in Creative Writing. I have very high marks in all my English classes, (transcripts for which available upon request) and am currently 12,000 words into my first book. I have tutored children of many ages in the past, many of whom suffered with audio/visual difficulties such as dyslexia and other reading/comprehension difficulties. Each child who applied their tutoring lessons to their in-school learning excelled in their school work/grades.

I have helped a number of adults & children improve in math, reading, writing and study skills. Generally a client should meet for three hours a week for best results. I have enjoyed learning and teaching my whole life. I earned a degree from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Elementary Education,and minors in English and Psychology. I have experience tutoring neighborhood students, as well as two years of professional middle school teaching. I am licensed to teach grades k-8 in English, math, science and social studies.
