I'm known for my patience working with students with foreign-language backgrounds and other disabilities such as a lack of attention and focus. I have a lot of experience in research and writing as my first career after college involved business planning. My teaching style really depends on the person I am working with. People learn different ways. It is important to identify what works best for the person. For example, some people may learn through discussion, while others may need to see pictures or presentations of the subject matter. I like to identify how the person learns first through questions, or by testing them with a simple task first to identify the method which seems to work best for them. Once this has been identified, training can begin.
I have both a bachelors degree and masters degree in business administration/management.
