My recent personal experiences have helped me to develop a heightened sense of compassion and an appreciation for teaching. When I volunteered to teach Mathematics and Business Studies (Commerce, Accounting and Economics) in the summer of 2008 in St. Patrick High School in Kenya, I learned to appreciate the teacher’s experience. A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout high school and college, I performed at an academic level well above average. As a result, I often found myself helping my fellow students. As part of my graduate assistantship at Missouri State, I work in the math tutoring lab several hours a week, tutoring (primarily) algebra and calculus students. I also teach MTH 102, which is approximately equivalent to high school Algebra II. I also have a great deal of experience in history, literature, English, and the natural sciences and have helped other students in these fields in the past.
