I am most familiar with conversation, as a means of relating information and testing understanding. I think that a through understanding in any subject comes about when a student can recognize the important concepts, and how they relate to each other, and speak those concepts in words which they understand--while gaining the vocabulary and proficiency as each subject demands. Most of all, I am an interested learner, in a variety of subjects, and I am excited to share my interest with others. I have a good sense of when I am being understood, and when I am not.
