Motivated, patient, and experienced!

I have different styles for different students. Some prefer one-on-one and some prefer to learn in a group and participate. I am capable of providing my own materials and test questions for students and assist them to learn and master their subject. I am more of an action type of person, if quality of service is not up to your expectation then its free of charge.

I know that each child is different and ultimately learn in their own individual way. I try and adapt by using different tactics such as visual demonstrations and mental problem solving. I strive to help each student grasp and fully understand the different material.
I enjoy teaching and helping children; after I graduated from Chico State I started my teaching career at Grace Christian Academy teaching sixth grade. I graduated from Duke University in 2009 with a triple-major in Biomedical Engineering, Economics, and Mathematics. I have tutored in Economics and spent four years mentoring middle-schools students in Engineering as a Techtronics Fellow.
I have never been someone who "just gets it" when it comes to math or science, and so I understand more than many people who pursued degrees in these subjects just how puzzling they can be.
