A Little Bit About Me...

I have over five years of science teaching experience on the high school level. I am passionate about the sciences and have an infectious enthusiasm for the topics that I impart to my students. I teach how math and science can be useful and fun!

Relaxed style, I am there to help the student learn in whatever way works best for them. I like to use real world situations to make the content practical and ensure that the student both retains the knowledge and can apply it.
I have a BS degree in chemistry and an MS degree in math. I currently teach at the college level for various colleges including dual credit courses in many high schools. I have been a tutor for over 15+ years. I have been a statistician, a chemist in a laboratory setting, worked in the medical field, and done consulting for various companies through out my career. I love to teach and enjoy teaching English as well. I am very good at grammar and all areas of the English language. In my work as a writer, I make extensive use of this. I try to be very patient, and I have worked a great deal with special needs students. I have also worked with ESL and GED students in addition to high school and middle school students, but I have experience with all ages. I enjoy helping someone learn and advancing to the next level.
