I went on to complete multiple master's degrees which has allowed me to gain an understanding of medical and biological sciences. I take a student-centered, hands-on approach to teaching. Individual learning styles must be addressed, and tutoring is an excellent way for a student to receive the type of instruction best suited for his/her learning style(s). I have been teaching martial arts since high school. I studied Wing Chun Kung Fu at an early age and later became my Sifu's helper in and out of class. I like to base my teaching like martial arts, teach the information by showing how its done, then use examples of it directly involving the student, and later having them try to see if they caught on or if they may need more assistance. In other words, show the block technique, show how the block is used, have them try the block. I show the material in every detail and usage.
