Is it a requirement and not in your field of study so you just want to pass the class or is this a part of your passion or career and really want to know the nuts and bolts of the subject. I will adjust accordingly and make out a plan. I will also figure out the best way to teach you the material and from there we will have a plan to accomplish the targeted goal.
I have a lot of experience not only in fields that you may need help learning, but I also spent time during college tutoring classmates as I was in the class and developed a style to help students learn quickly and also reinforce the concepts. I started substitute teaching in 1983 while I was working on my Master's Degree at California State University, Long Beach. I have been a substitute teacher in Long Beach, Santa Barbara, Glendale, and Palm Springs. I have had experience as a long term substitute in Senior English for a year at Palm Springs High School, also in Palm Springs, I did six months as a Special Education teacher at Cree Middle School. While I was in Glendale, I worked a year at Allen Continuation High School teaching English and Social Studies. I have had extensive experience preparing lesson plans, grading papers, helping students understand subject matter and providing parents with information about their child's work in class.

A Little Bit About Me...

During my undergraduate career, I was a teaching assistant for Physical Science and General Biology for two years. My responsibilities included teaching several lectures, the grading and any extra assistance needed by the students. After graduating, I taught High School chemistry for the Biola STAR program. During this time, I also tutored at a learning center in Fullerton. In 2007, I taught 3 sections of general chemistry lab at CSULB. I then moved to the education department at the Aquarium of the Pacific, and worked with the public there for 4 months before moving into a management position.
