I believe in Constructivism, whereby rudimentary skills are continually built upon; a combination of rote learning and discovery-based learning built upon a mastery of previously-learned concepts, plus testing in real-world scenarios to activate within the student the ability to apply learning through analysis and thought coupled with experimentation.

A Little Bit About Me...

My diverse academic career has provided me with a greater knowledge and understanding of Mathematics than many of my peers. I have taken numerous courses in Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Exercise Science since I hold a B.S. in both Mathematics and Exercise Science. These classes have prepared me to teach a variety of complex topics.I have organized and taught many different classes in Mathematics and other subjects during my experiences with the Philadelphia Urban Seminar, and vacation bible schools. Growing up, I assisted my siblings with Math and Science while being home schooled and tutored friends in high school in Math.

During the past four years, I have obtained a BS in Accounting with a Concentration in Fraud Examination and a Minor in Business Management. I have been employed full-time as the Business Manager of a private, not-for-profit Christian school, and as the Business Director of a student newspaper, The Voice. I have worked continuously in the educational setting with students, staff, and clients.
