My comments on tutoring Economics : This is one of my top subjects. I hold a bachelor's and a master's degree in economics, and I am a patient tutor. I will help you master the basic concepts that will enable you to earn a higher grade in class.

Patience, repetition, mini quizzes, and following a plan, pretty much summarize my teaching style. I also like to make my students comfortable, by being understanding, encouraging them to ask questions, and being very willing go over material that I have covered. My goal is to help my students improve their grades, and while doing that, to also help them love to learn.
I teach exactly how I study. I discovered as an undergraduate student that a student has to have a plan of action when taking any course. You cannot just study without a plan and expect to score highly in a test. My teaching method has been tried and tested by me,so much so that I have consistently scored highly in most of my courses from undergraduate through graduate school and into the doctoral program. I will share my secret study methods with my students.

I assist the Reading Center Directors in assessing area public school K-12 students at-risk in reading and writing. The information is used to identify areas of literacy strength, as well as areas of need. I design and implement differentiated one-on-one instruction based on individual student needs, and conduct formative assessments regularly to determine student progress to share this information with the parents and schools.
I have earned two bachelors degrees, BS in Accounting and BA in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Reading. I have also earned a Masters in Business Adminstration. I have a passion for education and helping others. I also love math and problem solving. I have earned my BS in Business with a major in MIS, and have completed many extra math classes. I tutored all through college when I went (at the high school and college level). I have enjoyed teaching my daughter and others her age (elementary level), and have learned a lot about learning styles.
