Hi, my name is Brittany G. I am a graduate of Southeastern University where I earned a B.S. in General Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Western Governor's University where I earned a Master's in teaching Science. I have been teaching for Sarasota County since 2007. Need help with Biology? I can make learning fun!!

I have always used student-oriented teaching methods. For example I usually give the students real -life scenarios such as case studies to reinforce the concepts they learn. I like to make my classes fun and game like. I use different methods for remembering such as how to apply photographic memory as well as music and lyrics. I very much enjoyed my experience as a teaching assistant. Also, my clinical experience as a student physical therapist has allowed me to see that all people have different teaching styles, and the teacher has to recognize that and adapt accordingly. I make a consistent effort to do this with my patients, to use whatever it takes so they can understand such as demonstration, verbal, or allowing them to just do it.
