My comments on tutoring Accounting : Majored in Accounting as undergraduate. Several years experience in corporate and public accounting. Designed and installed many basic accounting/bookkeeping computer applications. Also served as adjunct accounting instructor at Community college.

I try to present each subject area as a sample problem and show EXACTLY how a solution is reached. Then I invite the student's participation with a view toward understanding the student's thinking. While accuracy in math is vital, understanding the steps involved is crucial.
Eight years of tutoring math subjects for middle school and high school students. I have a keen interest in math and have always enjoyed helping students grasp the essence of a problem and its mathematical solution. A Little Bit About Me...

I had 10 courses in accounting as an accounting major and took 5 courses in economics even though only 3 were required becuase I liked economics. I only had one course in statistics but I did well in it. Becuase accounting, economics and statistics are the courses that schools use to "weed" the crop for the business schools that has been where all the demand has been for tutoring and where I have gained all of my tutoring experience. I have turored courses in micro and macro economics, financial and managerial accounting and statistics. So far the students I have worked with have done well.
