Drama is one of my top subjects! All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely in it! Experience the exciting and rewarding field of drama. Coursework will be subject to needs of the student: everything from script analysis to simple, structured play in order to build self confidence and promote intrinsic creativity. This class is offered one-on-one, but students also thrive within a group setting, so special group rates apply.

Hands on, project based. Whether with a group or one-on-one, I consider learning to be best experienced when all five senses are utilized to their maximum potential. Students of all ages will learn through creative game play, creative projects, and creative writing.
Throughout undergraduate and now graduate work, I have always had a passion for passing along what I know, in hopes of teaching and inspiring, and developing others. Drama is one of my top subjects! This is what I got my undergraduate degree in, so needless to say I love the subject! In addition to teaching students performance and audition basics, I love to teach theatre history and script analysis along with it.

I'm very laid back, but I know how to get results. I have always been a very disciplined student, but I realized pretty early in my academic career that unless I make the subject interesting for me, I'll never grasp the material. I make it a point to get to know every student so that I can personalize their learning style. The only way they'll learn and understand something is if they WANT to do so. I offer a different approach to things that students may not get in the classroom, to hopefully expand their interest in a subject they never thought they'd like.
I recently obtained my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, where I graduated in the top of my class with a 4.0. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a certified teacher from William Carey University with a BS degree in Elementary Education. My endorsments are in English and Social Studies, and I am currently working on becoming certified in Special Education. I currently work at an elementary school in a reading lab. I work one-on-one tutoring students in reading and writing skills. We use the Orton-Gillingham Method and work on building strong phonics and fluency skills.
