Teacher seeks tutoring students

I love hands-on activities and learning experiences that include technology. I also like to include activities that appeal to all types of learning styles. I have used and implemented Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences when planning and implementing lessons.
I Have been a teacher since 2002. I have had various experience in teaching students diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, OCD, PDD, ODD, as well as other learning, social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities. I have also had experience tutoring students from grades one to ten. I have had to plan and implement individual education plans as well as independent lessons for various students. I have worked with children from all types of schools including inner city and charter schools.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, but my experience has reached beyond that to help children with behavioral and mental health issues. I love working with individuals and meeting their individual needs. My job experience includes teaching Pre-Kindergarten, substitute teaching in public schools, working as a Wrap Around Counselor in the school system and in the home and community,and providing Case Management services for Early Intervention and foster care.
