My comments on tutoring Microsoft Excel : As an internal auditor I have learned how to mine data using excel. Filtering data, pivot tables, writing formulas using left, , PV, FV, PMT, right, mid, find, vlookup, trim, if, sumif and consolidate.

I stated my career as a 7th and 8th grade math teacher in Oberlin Ohio. I taught two years at Beachwood High School, teaching algebra, geometry, physics and calculus. I went back to school to receive my masters in accounting. I work for a large public accounting firm and received by CPA license. From public accounting I started my internal audit career. I consulted many different companies in a variety of industries. I became a Certified Internal Auditor and became president of the local chapter. As an auditor I trained staff and also trained auditees in accounting matters. I learned how to solve problems and develop my common sense approach in developing solutions. At Adult Basic and Literature Education, I serve as a math and grammar tutor in the GED and ESOL programs. Also, I assist the students on how to obtain basic computer techniques so that they can operate the computer. I am able to communicate with Spanish-speaking students and read French. As for my technical, web designing, and software knowledge, I have a background in computer troubleshooting, Adobe Photoshop, HMTL, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etcetera. For five years, I was a substitute teacher for grades K-5 in English as a Second Language, Special Education and Art classes. I used my communication skills to converse with and to translate Spanish/English language. My tutoring experience comes from high school, college and job environments. When it comes to bookkeeping and accounting I discovered a natural ability during my first bookkeeping class in high school. After finishing the course material in half the time, I was allowed to assist other students. In college, I was repeatedly asked by fellow classmates to help them acquire a stronger grasp of the subject matter.
