My teaching style is based largely on the priority academic student skills for Oklahoma. I have used Alpha Plus, Study Island, Destination Success by Riverside, Literacy First, You Can Learn, and Buckle Down software and written materials. I utilize several self motivating materials. I teach them how to acquire relevant data, how to retain it,and retrieve prior knowledge. My strength, is giving students a sense of pride, accomplishment, and building their self esteem. I have a great deal of patience with children who want to avoid learning. I have never taught a child that has not made their impact in my own life.
