I have been teaching since 2001 and have a true passion for teaching. I have worked as both a special ED and general education teacher. My students range from kindergarden through high school. I am a Virginia state certified teacher who holds a Master's in special education. I have taught in both the public and private school sector. Let's start out by saying I am definitely not your average tutor! Fun is vital to motivation, and I live on the stuff! I have been teaching for over fifteen years in a variety of environments, working in inclusive environments with children aged birth to twelve. I am now in my second year as a Special Education Teacher at a private school in DC that specializes in working with children who have Learning and Emotional Disabilities.
