French is one of my top subjects! I studied French though college and spent my senior year of High School in Paris. I have a MA in romance linguistics, completed in Italy, and currently teach Italian at Endicott College.

I have a B.A. from Smith College, where I was master tutor of the Italian department, and a MA from Middlebury College and the University of Florence in Romance linguistics. I tutored extensively throughout college and graduate school. I have taught Italian and Spanish for a year at public high school, and have just successfully completed my first year of teaching Italian literature at the college level.
My teaching style has always been strictly student-centric! I think of foreign language as a way for people to expand their world and explore whatever they find interesting. I want students to follow their own ambitions and I will help them get there. I like to encourage speaking just as much as listening. The lesson should be about the student, not me.
