As an MBA graduate, I have a level of success in business and business management. I have earned a B.S. in Organizational Management with a minor in Mathematics and an M.B.A. in Organizational Leadership. Prior to moving to Oklahoma, I attended Fort Valley State University and carried double majors of Mathematics and Geology. I did not finish matriculating at Fort Valley. During the past 16 years that I have been in Oklahoma, I have tutored at my church and with teenages in my community at least 12 years as needed. I currently have a bachelors degree in sociology with a minor in elementary education. During the past 4 years and working in the early childhood education industry I realized that many teachers were not getting the proper training that they needed to receive to help the children that they are serving. Once I realized this I decided to work on my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education in hopes that i could be an Early Childhood College Professor and teach students the ins and outs of the early childhood industry. While getting my bachelors degree I tutored in subjects such as reading,writing, math, and science as well as art. During my last year of college, I was employed by my university as a science/math tutor. During this year I was able to help students with their science problems of all levels. During my time in college I was involved in reading biomedical research papers.I was able to attract many students interested in the biomedical research field to learn how to read research papers. I was very proud of myself for this due to the high difficulty first year graduate students have reading these papers. My teaching is based on lecture explanation. I am first and foremost a listener. I'm laid back and patient but understand that success on exams and in school does not come to most without hard work and challenging yourself to go out on a limb. I believe that the best way to learn is to make materials apply to you and things going on around you. From early on in my high school career I understood that passing AP tests could mean graduating from college in 3 years, saving money for grad school, and a chance to get into the professional world sooner. That's exactly what I did. I had to take some summer school and intersession classes, but I endured. All the while I was involved with an organization on campus that worked to educate the student body on a number of environmental issues, worked with volunteers on events and campaigns, and trained my peers to take the same leadership that I did.
