My comments on tutoring HTML : I learned HTML when I was 14 years old. I was one of the first people in the state to host a site in 1994. I know everything there is to know about HTML.

I've been a web developer for over 20 years. I've seen the entire industry evolve in real-time with my own career path. I'm currently working full-time as a principle software engineer for a SaaS company in town. I've built many teams, architected and helped produce many enterprise level systems. I love teaching and am passionate about helping people discover their strengths and choose the right career paths.

Give Real life experience a try

Experience throughout school, work and personal experience dealing with the mentally challenged and dyslexia. my best friend had a son who was dyslexic and also he had ADD and I got him to trust me in babysitting and I taught him various things. I taught him how to read and write he could not accomplish that on his own. He was 11 at the time and I think with kids you have to be creative to teach them and I am very creative. I also have an aunt who is mentally handicapped, and I love spending time with her she is a very giving person. They teach me and it is always a joy to work with them and give something back.
Hands on approaches mixed with worldly knowledge, and a very patient style.

While attending BYU I worked in the student advisement center part-time, mentoring and helping students develop their schedules, and tutored them in subject matter from courses I'd already completed. I served as a volunteer representative for the LDS church for two years in Denmark and Iceland. I speak fluent Danish and Norwegian, and I taught extensively on many topics to all age groups while over there. I've tutored other students, friends, and family in math and math-related fields(up to calculus III level math). I excelled at Math and English composition in school. This is a necessity to begin learning other concepts with any subject. Second, any rules, equations, procedures or the "how to" come into play. Thought provoking ones which allow the students to follow a clear path of logic to understanding important concepts.
